Nothing Beats Hearing It Straight From a Client 💛

Featuring Skinny Skipper!

One of the best parts of running Heart & Soul Photography is getting to work with local businesses across our community — and every once in a while, a client goes above and beyond to share their experience with us.

That's exactly what happened with Alan, the creator of Skinny Skipper, who recently took the time to record a video review about the product photos we did for his business. Watching it back, it means the world to hear that the experience — and the final images — hit the mark.

Reviews like this are a great reminder of why we love this job so much. It's not just about the final photos — it's about making the whole process easy, comfortable, and worth it for the people and businesses who trust us.

If you're a business owner thinking about updating your product photos, headshots, or branding shots, we'd love to help you get images you're proud to put your name — or your product — behind.

Thank you again to Alan from Skinny Skipper, for the kind words and for trusting Heart & Soul Photography!

My Time at GotPhoto Summer Camp 2026 in Louisville 📸 This June, I had the incredible opportunity to attend GotPhoto's Volume Photography Summer Camp 2026 in Louisville, Kentucky — and I'm still buzzing from everything I learned, everyone I met, and the inspiration I brought home with me. For those who haven't heard of it, Summer Camp brings together hundreds of volume photographers from all over for several days of workshops, live shoots, and expert-led sessions — all focused on helping studios like Heart & Soul Photography grow smarter and serve clients better. What I Took Away Between sessions on pricing strategy, marketing, and scaling a small business, I walked away with so many practical tools I can't wait to put into action — everything from sharpening how we approach school and sports photography to fresh ideas for connecting with clients like you. But honestly? My favorite part wasn't even the workshops — it was the people. Getting to talk shop with other photographers who deal with the exact same challenges and wins as I do (hello, wrangling 200 kids for picture day) made the whole trip feel less like a conference and more like a community. Watch My Recap I put together a little video recap of my time at Summer Camp — check it out here: Youtube: https://youtube.com/shorts/Z7xTttU0yOU?si=V46RLQqpyzk8SAYC Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/reel/1373406044804904 What This Means for You Every time I invest in learning and growing as a photographer, it comes back around to benefit my clients — better workflows, smarter pricing, fresh ideas, and continued passion for this work I love so much. I'm so excited to bring everything I learned in Louisville back home and put it to work for you. Thank you to GotPhoto for putting together such an incredible event, and to everyone I connected with along the way. Here's to another great year at Heart & Soul Photography! 💛📷 — Heart & Soul Photography
